If you’re in the Atlanta area and looking for a spring outing, look no further than Scottsdale Farms. They are located near Milton, GA and I recently met a friend there for browsing and we had lunch. It’s in the countryside and the drive there from my home in Acworth is beautiful, with backroads and lovely horse farms along the way. I shared Scottsdale Farms years ago, but it’s been so many years that I wanted to share again.

Scottsdale Farms is a nursery, a cafe and a home decor shop all in one fun destination. It’s definitely a destination trip because you can’t pass it up unless you’re in the area. It’s in the country, but worth the drive.

I met my longtime friend, Maureen, who I’ve known for 24 years now. We both share a love for flowers and decorations, so we became instant friends and have remained close ever since. We live on the opposite side of Atlanta from each other, so we always try to meet up somewhere in the middle where we can browse some cute things and have lunch. We didn’t eat here that day, but decided to go to 7 Acres Grill across the street for lunch and it was delicious. Scottsdale also has fine dining with sandwiches, salads and casual offerings.

Outside, you’ll see a wide variety of planters to choose from, so this is a good place to look for those items.

They have a lot to choose from, as well as very healthy plants.

Inside and out, you’ll love browsing the goods at Scottsdale Farms.

We strolled around all the plants and dreamed of what we might plant this year. I’m hoping to get my plants in planters before we leave for our Italy trip this year.

They have many types of shrubs and flowers.

Lots of garden ornaments and decor for the garden. I’m not sure who would buy Big Foot, but my husband would probably be Mark. He once said he would buy a Big Foot statue and put it in our woods, but I don’t think that will happen.

Heuchera is very beautiful. I forgot about these plants but love them.

They also have a koi pond.

Inside is their beautiful cafe, the Rock Room. We ate there when we first met there and it was good too.

Inside, there’s a treasure trove of home decor, and they’re truly stocked up for spring. From faux flowers and plants, to many home decor accessories, furniture and more.

Their buyer and stylist do a wonderful job with displays and vignettes.

It draws you in and makes you want to buy everything!

But remember you need to get rid of them before you bring home more!

Like this bunny pillow! I still have a thing for bunnies, but I never brought him home.

There are bunnies everywhere. Time for spring bunnies!

Love those lake pillows.

A wonderful spring combo like blue and white and green gets me every time.

These are faux lilies, but look very real.

Grand Millennial Heaven!

You’ll find lots of great gift ideas, from books to linens, pillows and table accessories.

Another bunny pillow!

This blue and white table definitely caught my eye.

They also have women’s clothing and accessories.

There is so much to enjoy and see in Scottsdale. We definitely enjoyed our visit again and if you’re looking for a fun getaway this spring, definitely check it out. One of my readers is going to be in town in this area and she asked me for a good place for plants and decor and I told her to go here. She wrote me back after she went and said she and her friends loved it!

Don’t miss a post, join my list!
