Good for heart health
Flaxseeds protect heart health in several ways. Flaxseeds lower pressure, long-term consumption may benefit you. One study found that among 50 adults with high cholesterol, those who consumed three tablespoons of roasted flaxseed powder daily for three months experienced significant reductions in total cholesterol and LDL (bad cholesterol) levels. They also saw an increase in HDL (good cholesterol) levels.

Four tablespoons of flax seeds provide 27% of the daily fiber. It is a key nutrient for digestive health. Fiber makes you feel full faster, helps control weight, prevents constipation. Flaxseeds contain both soluble and insoluble fiber, both of which improve bowel movements in different ways.

How to make Flaxseed Chutney
You will need to make Flaxseed Chutney
Tamarind 2 sticks
Flax seeds 200 grams
Red Chilli 8
Olive oil 3 tsp
Cumin 3 tsp
Salt is needed
Water as needed
Coriander leaves
Here’s how to make linseed chutney
Step 1
To make flaxseed chutney, take a non-stick pan and add a spoonful of oil and fry the flaxseeds till golden brown or for 2-3 minutes. Once they are roasted, switch off the gas and keep the flax seeds aside.
Step 2
Now add another spoon of oil and fry cumin seeds and tamarind separately on medium flame. When they are fried, switch off the flame. Add flax seeds, tamarind and cumin seeds in a bowl and grind them together in a grinder.
Step 3
Finally add a tablespoon of water to the powder and add salt and pepper. Put this mixture in a grinder and blend until its consistency thickens like a chutney. When ready, garnish with oil and coriander leaves and serve.
