Cucumber-Beetroot Raita Recipe

We need to make it

1 cup of curd
Chia seeds 1 tsp
Grated cucumber 1/2 cup
1/2 cup grated beetroot
1/2 cup grated carrots
1 to 2 green chillies
Ginger 1 inch
4 to 5 leaves of mint
Peanuts 2 tsp
urad dal 1 spoon
Mustard 1/2 tsp
8 to 10 for curry leaves
Oil 1 spoon
1 to 2 red chillies
1 pinch of cumin
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Black salt to taste

To do this, place the chia seeds in a bowl to soak for 30 minutes.

Now add curd and mix it. After mixing well add grated carrot, cucumber and beetroot.

After mixing it, the curd will start changing color. Add chopped green chillies and ginger to add flavor.

Now add black salt, cumin powder and mint leaves as per taste.

To add nutritious flavor to this healthy dish, heat oil in a pan.

Add a spoonful of asafoetida, mustard seeds, peanuts, dry chillies, curry leaves and urad dal to the oil and stir for a while.

Pour the prepared tadka over the raita, mix and serve with a bowl of dishes and meals too.
