1. Kanchan Suvarnaprasham

Kanchan Suvarnaprashan is a traditional Ayurvedic practice of consuming a mixture of gold, ghee and honey. Dr. Savalia says, “Gold can reduce skin redness, reduce acne inflammation, protect against hyperpigmentation and give your skin a natural glow. Ghee contains vitamins A, D, E and K and antioxidants that help maintain skin elasticity.

On the other hand, honey provides natural moisture and prevents premature aging. Take 2-3 drops of this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach to detoxify the body and get beautiful skin.

2. Aggressive grit

Daadimadi Ghrit is an Ayurvedic formulation that combines the goodness of pomegranate (Dadima) with cow ghee. Known for its antioxidant properties, pomegranates are rich in vitamins C and K, which help fight free radical damage and promote collagen production, thereby improving skin elasticity and texture. “It also improves digestion. To reap these benefits, consume 1 tablespoon of the mix with warm milk or water in the morning or at bedtime,” advises Dr Savalia.

3. Amrapali tea

Amrapali tea is a rejuvenating herbal infusion made with a blend of Ayurvedic herbs and spices including tulsi (holy basil), neem, turmeric and amla (Indian gooseberry). These ingredients are known for their detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help cleanse the body of toxins, reduce inflammation and promote radiant skin. Dr Savalia suggests, “Take 3 grams of amrapali and boil it in 300 ml water for 7 minutes, then strain and sip your glowing tea on an empty stomach” to get glowing skin.

4. Face mask

Dr Savalia recommends using a face mask made with herbs like hibiscus, lodra, manjishta, chandan, rose, turmeric, red dal and saffron. These ingredients work together to unclog pores, improve skin tone, and combat dull and tired-looking skin. This face mask improves circulation and gives glow to the skin. To use it, take 1 tablespoon of the mask and mix it with rose, milk or plain water. Mix well and then apply to your skin for 30 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.” Apply this mask weekly to promote a youthful glow!

5. Madhubala (saffron serum)

Madhubala is a saffron serum revered for its skin-brightening properties. Saffron, the star ingredient of this serum, is rich in antioxidants and carotenoids that help lighten pigmentation, reduce dark spots and improve skin tone.
